Kersey Footpath working group

In the 1980’s a group of volunteers and Parish Councillors combined informally with the aim of ensuring all the footpaths in Kersey are well signed and in good walking condition. Now a working group of the Parish Council the volunteers  achieve that same aim by carrying out surface clearance and mowing of the paths as necessary. The group also liaise with landowners and Suffolk County Council who has ultimate responsibility for footpaths. Anyone interested in helping to maintain Kersey's wonderful network of footpaths, with Parish Council owned robust equipment, would be welcomed.

Great feedback of how good the footpaths are in Kersey is often received.  This is all thanks to work of the footpath working group volunteers!
